Matryoshka

I'll leave behind the door
All my prejudice.
I'll consign to oblivion
Old templates and old jokes.

I'll throw out the junk.
Make room for new dreams!

Take me at my word.
I'm not afraid to fall out of line.
I've got one ready, up my sleeve —
A tale about a hero.

He wanted to know the world.
To learn everything about everything.

He looked at a matryoshka —
And reality cracked open, just a bit.

Think wider.
Look for an alternative.
Open your eyes wider.
You're on air.

You're living inside
A computer game.

Everything bows to the mind.
And no outer things can cover the inner void.

A new layer of the cocoon of nonbeing.
A dream within a dream is still a dream of a dream.
While you scroll the news, chewing,
Why is life stripped of meaning?

Thinking like everyone is in fashion.
Living in the system. In binary code.

The small is self-similar to the large.
To the digital image.

So the hero mused.
And came to know the fractal.
How many times he had died,
Squandering his potential.

The repetitions got old.
Remember who you are. For real.
